what is noun??

nouns is a word used to name a person, animal, place, thing, and abstract idea..
examples:


hat   ball   car   boy   girl   scholl


Some nouns are special names and start with a capital letter.  Special names include people's names, names of special places, days of the week, months of the year, and special holidays.  The titles of people's names are also capitalized.
